Redwood NP/Patrick's Point SP 2001

About two weeks after going to Bryce Canyon, I still had the camping and driving bug, not to mention wanted another excuse to use my new tent. I got together with Kip and drove up along the California coast along the 1 and the 101/Redwood Highway. It was the weekend of the Humboldt motorcycle rally, so there were lots of nice bikes on the road as well. We stayed one night at Patrick's Point State Park on the California coast just south of Redwood National Park. The next night we hiked through Redwood NP in the Prarie Creek Redwoods State Park segment and camped on a ridge overlooking the ocean.
