Point Reyes National Seashore

June 2005

One weekend I drove on up to San Francisco to visit a friend and we went up into Marin for a nice dayhike. We wound up going to Point Reyes National Seashore. We had a relaxing day hike in the Paleomarin area and there were some gorgeous flowers out. The wind was strong coming off of the ocean and the eucalyptus trees were bending so much you could hear them creaking. There was quite a variety of different areas between beaches, eucalyptus groves, exposed ridgeline along the coast, and pine forested lakes. It was nice to be able to experience a little taste of the Northern California coastline. I'll definitely need to make time to head back here.

The Photographs

These photographs were taken with my Minolta system and the SRT101 body. This was the last of two rolls of Kodachrome KL 200 that I had gotten shipped accidentally instead of PKL. Click "Next" in the upper right to begin.
