Crater Lake National Park
Leaving Newberry, our next stop was Crater Lake National Park. This park situated towards south central Oregon is primarily centered around its famous lake nestled in the remains of a volcano. I had been here before when there was snow on the ground, but this was my first opportunity to go around the lake by car. We mostly drove around the rim of the lake and got out at various points along the way to hike towards the crater edges. Most of these pictures are also from the opposite side of the rim from where my previous trip took me.
