North Cascades National Park
Leaving Canada and returning to the United States, we re-entered Washington towards the center of the state along the northern border. From here we drove west through the Cascades and went through the North Cascades National Park. While we decided not to hike here, we did stop off at some wonderful vistas along the road and camped out at the Lake Diablo campground and got to experience a beautiful sunset in the mountains. A lot of this park is qutie inaccessible without hiking into it, so it must definitely be a place I return to in the future to explore.
The Photographs
The black and white picutres are mostly from the highway running through the Cascades, and the color shots were done at sunset and past-sunset over Lake Diablo. My favorite photos from this series are:
