Lyon, France

September 2006

During September 2006 I was in Europe for the OpenOffice.org Conference which was being held in Lyon, France. Most of the time I was busy at the conference, but the weekend before I got a chance to go walking about the Old Town across the Saône from the hotel where I was staying. We walked around and foudn a street fair, the old Roman ruins, and eventually made our way up to the basilica with its lovely gold and painted interior. I wish I had more time to go out exploring in the town and seeing a bit more of what it has to offer.
