La Quinta, CA 2004

In March I went back to La Quinta to visit Kevin, his wife, and his awesome dogs. While staying over for the weekend, Kevin and I went out hiking along the Cove/Oasis trail. From the back of a residentail neighborhood trails wind up through the desert mountains into expanses of abandoned nothingness. The heights overlooked all of the Cove and up past Palm Springs as well. We only experienced a taste of the desert south of La Quinta, but it was enough to already make Kevin go back and myself as well.
