Joshua Tree NP 2003
I'd never been to Joshua Tree NP even though I had passed through the Mojave desert on a number of times and zipped right passed it. After one of my college friends moved down into Southern California and had also acquired an addiction for hiking during his tenure in thie world, I proposed that we go visit Joshua Tree. He had never been to the desert, and I suspected it would be a phenomenal time. This trip was also my first long-distance motorcycle tour. My Savage survived, alebit going through a bit of oil. Cruising on a motorcycle through the Mojave is paradise.
