Dad's Garden

June 2006

I went back home to visit my parents and my father's garden had grown yet more complex! Lots of beautiful roses were around along with lots of new landscaping, water features, statues, and flowers. While unfortunately it was raining most of the days I was there, towards the end the rain let up and the sun shone through. I went on outside to take some pictures! With the large variety of different flowers and plants there's a lot of different interesting textures to play around with. My father just can't stop working on his garden, so who knows what I'll see when I go home next!

The Photographs

The pictures were taken with my Minolta system. The film was a roll of Velvia 50 to saturate the colors of the flowers. I stuck to the 58mm 1.2 lens for all of the shots.
