Burning Man

This year one of my friends convinced me to go to the Burning Man art festival out in Nevada. The entire weekend was an incredibly fun and relaxing experience. The entire place offers such a wide variety of things to do between meeting fun people, great parties, interesting art everywhere, and being surrounded by the gorgeous desert.

I had the opportunity to do a little photography, but not much since I was too busy just sleeping, partying, and experiencing the entire thing. I was graciously woken up for one dawn and had partied late another and got to see the next one too. In reality, hoewver, Burning Man is an experience that really can't be captured by pictures in the slightest. That still doens't make it any less fun to try!

The Photographs

The pictures were taken with my Minolta system. The film was a roll of Velvia 50 to try and get that sunrise "pop" followed by a roll of TMax and then regular Kodak Max 800 (since I was thinking of playing with some night work but just wound up watching everything instead).
