Probably the biggest problem people are having with trying to get into the chatroom is that your telnet program isn't properly hooked up to your web browser. If this happens, simply exit your browser (should be Netscape 1.12) and open your Telnet program. This program is called NCSA Telnet on Macs, and there are a number of varieties on the PC. If you don't know what a Telnet program is but use a program to access a UNIX server (to run pine or things like that), then simply use that program.
